Welcome to The Hammond Jazz Inventory
You might or might not know The Hammond Jazz Inventory. For you who don't: The Hammond Jazz Inventory is a website that is entirely dedicated to jazz music in which the organ plays a significant role. It contains discographies, reviews, blogs, orghammograms, sound samples, links and more. It's very clickable. It's primary design goal was to reveal the relationships beween musicians; who recorded with who on what album.

Welcome to our mailing system
We just developed this mailingsystem that enables us to send messages like the one you are reading now. We will not send more then 1 or 2 messages in a month, probably even less. If you really don't want to receive them, the end of this message contains instructions on how to unsubscribe from our mailinglist.

Current status and future plans
We now list 240 albums complete with tracklisting, musicians etcetera. About 10% of them also have 3 or more soundsamples you can listen to. In the near future we plan to add much more soundsamples to the site. In the meantime you can listen to all of them on our new music page.

The Hammond Jazz Agenda
We would like to pay some attention to The Hammond Jazz Agenda, a collaboration project with the aim to create a huge agenda with Hammond jazz concerts on the web. A great way for jazz organists and fans to promote their concerts ands gigs especially now the number of visitors of The Hammond Jazz Inventory is growing rapidly. And what's more, it's free.

It is easy to get concerts on this agenda. Follow these simples steps:

  1. Sign up at The Hammond Jazz Agenda website
  2. Enter your concerts in a very simple and intuitive webform
  3. That's about it.
Concerts will be published on The Hammond Jazz Inventory instantly. Here you can see what that looks like. But that's not all. You can also put the agenda on your website or forum posts. You can even have an always up to date concert agenda in you email signature. If you want to know how, read more here.

It is important to note that everybody can contribute to The Hammond Jazz Agenda. Not only organists but also agents, fans, little brothers and sisters etcetera.

For some organists we already created some agenda items to give The Hammond Jazz Agenda a headstart. We hope you will signup to keep the agenda up to date, attractive and complete.
